28 days left until I move home
I just realized today that not counting today, I have 28 days until I move home to my parents. I am excited, but also a little concerned about how it will affect me personally and my social life. Financially it will be great so that I can pay loans off and save money. On the other hand I might have to deal with a lot of crud my mom likes to give me. I pray everything works out well.

Changes to the blog
To make my blog more pleasant, and to raise awareness on things like adoptions and sponsorship; I have added a playlist of around 15 songs that I love and placed buttons to raise awareness. I have also changed the background of my blog. I like the changes so far. Please let me know what you think.
Not a good day today
The life of a nanny is not always easy. Today, I decided that I was totally done with all attitudes the kids have been giving me. From now on, you show attitude in the wrong way you go directly to time out no warning. Ladybug has been particularly bad lately about it. Today, among other bad decisions besides attitude, she had a total of 9 time outs and got things taken away from her and she had a to clean the toy closet by herself. I do not want to be harsh, but she needs to realize that there is a right way to handle things and a wrong way. You will not always get what you want by fussing or having an attitude. Also, Monkey has decided to regress back to the crying stage every time he is punished. I am not sure what I am going to do with that, but that has got to end soon. Please pray that we will all get through this really quickly, and get back to better personalities.

Focus of my year
2010 brought tons of change for me. Some good and some bad. Now for 2011 I am starting fresh. There is much that is going to happen, but my life will be more stable. For starters, I am reading multiple bible studies everyday to bring me closer to God than I have ever been before. I am enjoying the heck out of it. I love bossing my heart!
Secondly I am moving back to my parents' house. This will help me out a lot financially. I can work paying off my loans, and working on saving more money for special things down the road. I will also go back to school to finish my ASL interpreter certification and look into nursing as well.
I am not sure where God is leading me, but I know it is for my sake and those who I will care for later on. Please pray that I continue to follow the path God has laid out for me.
Thanks!

Friendly Friday: A Boss Your Heart Message from Amber O'Neil
It is my prayer that in 2011, we will have a guest post every Friday here on the blog from someone who has been touched by our Princess Chrissie's life. I'm excited to share with you the very first Friendly Friday guest post, and I extend my gratitude to Amber O'Neil for sharing her "Boss Your Heart" message here today! If you'd like to share something here on Friendly Friday, just click HERE for more info! Thank you again, Amber, for sharing your story with us!
Anger or Forgiveness: It Is Your Choice
As the oldest of two, I have always had to lead by example. My choices were not always great. I have an anger issue at times. I know now that my anger tends to happen when several things go wrong in my life. I can honestly say that at times I am like Cain when I am angry. (6 “Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain. “Why do you look so dejected? 7 You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”~Genesis 4:6-7). I have never wanted anyone to die when I was angry, but I would let them know I was not happy.
How we react to wrong done to us or when someone tells us about what we have done says a lot about our character and personality. I am thankful when someone gently points out that I have made a mistake, then I look at myself, and then try to change it. My response is different when someone tells me in an unkind way or they really frustrate me when they do something that I do not like. I get upset, and can get angry really fast. This is not the correct response. I am working hard to stop this behavior, but it is not easy to over come.
One thing I always try to remember is that I need to calm myself down. That is not easy. It sometimes takes me really bossing my heart to calm down. I am a huge fan of the Duggar Family. I recently bought an At The Pond cd that had them on it called 19,000 Frogs and Counting. Tony the Frog learns a big lesson on dealing with his family by watching the interactions of the Duggar children. A very special verse was said by Michelle Duggar to daughter Joy-Anna that really had a very big impact on me. She reminded Joy-Anna that it is to one's glory to overlook an offense (Proverbs 19:11). This verse has helped me calmed down really quickly along with music.
For me, it is easier to forgive if I have had a chance to calm down. There have been many times where the kids I take care of, have pushed all of my buttons and have made me really mad. I always try to tell them that I am sorry about my temper, and explain to them why I got so upset. I can only do that if I have had the chance to calm down and boss my heart to forgive their offenses.
Now a days, I have two special verses I cling to. One I have mentioned from Proverbs and one from Jeremiah. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." ~Jeremiah 29:11 One day I know, I will have my biggest desire of all, a family of my own. I want to be able to be a good example of someone who bosses their heart for the good of all people.

2011 Time to Look Ahead
2010 brought quite a few changes for me.
January- I moved to a new apartment complex that is 3 miles closer to work. I love the community feel.
February- Still enjoying my new place, but now some added pressure from loneliness is starting to develop.
March- Very busy with my many activities as well as preparing for VBS that was coming in June and meeting the newest member of the church.
April- Easter fun. Continued to be busy with my many activities, and dealing with loneliness.
May- Monkey is out of school for the summer. We returned to our normal schedule that had been set for two years. We were busy with multiple activities as well as spending time with their Oma.
June- VBS time. The kiddos' grandparents from out of town come in the same week. This helped me focus on VBS a little more than normal. Trying to find a second job, but nothing happens.
July- Monkey's birthday. Still trying to find a second job, still nothing happens. I am trying to come to grips with both kids about to start school.
August- LadyBug's birthday. Two week vacation, then the start of school. Very hard for both LadyBug and I to separate from each other.
September- Totaled my car. Walked away with next to no injuries, but had major issues with having to say goodbye to a car I loved and only had for 23 months. Getting used to having breaks two times a week.
October- Children's church doing a black light series leading to our Harvest Party. Friends of the family I work for come to visit.
November- My big vacation. I traveled to visit family in West Virginia and Ohio.
December- Met the Patterson Family after Lorraine wrote a book of the blog posts during the 31 days her daughter, Chrissie, was in the hospital. I got an autographed copy of the book. I had to make a decision on what I was going to do about possibly renewing my lease on the apartment. The renewal price was just too much, and now I am looking for a new place or moving back home. My camera broke, and I began the process of buying a new one. Spent Christmas with part of my family. Then as the year was coming to a close, I was invited and I joined a group called Boss Your Heart Challenge 2011.
I could have been killed in a car accident just days before Christmas if it were not for God giving me the strength to save myself. It was not my mistake, but that of a construction dump truck driver who did not stop his truck at the stop sign.
SO.... For 2011: My Hopes
Keep God as my main focus by studying His word everyday in all of the bible studies that I do
That my living arrangements get resolved quickly
Find a second job
Find a guy that wants to marry me for me and keeps God as the foundation of our marriage
Start really paying down on my two loans
Get my passport renewed
Buy a new computer or ipad
Save money
