Long Day

I can't believe that October is almost over with although I am excited for my birthday month.  My mom and I are planning our trip to West Virginia for Thanksgiving.  It will be wonderful to go and visit family.  One of my cousins is super excited about the prospect of seeing us for Thanksgiving.  I told her that we were trying to earn money so that we can come see them, but that it might not happen. She said that was ok, but she hopes we can make it.  I keep praying that everything will work out for it.

I am getting super excited for tomorrow night square dancing (we get to wear costumes), and this weekend.  There is so much that is going to happen and I will get a chance to wear two different costumes.  Tomorrow night's square dancing is going to be our halloween dance so we get to dress up.  I will wear my dress that my grandma made me, and I might even wear my second one.  Not sure yet.  Saturday will be with the kiddos just playing and having fun.  Sunday is All Hallow's Eve.  I will be dressing in one of my costumes that morning for children's church, then that evening I will be in the other costume.  I am very excited.

Crazy Life

It seems that all I have done lately is go go go.  I love being able to do that, but sometimes I forget stuff which no beuno.  For instances, I forgot about a meeting that I had planned to go to on Monday.  It was not a major thing, but I didn't remember until the next day at a sitting job.  I can't wait for Thanksgiving.  It is my hope to get away during that week, and just relax.  Be able to do what I want when I want without having a particular schedule in mind.  My hope is to be able to go visit family in West Virginia and Ohio.  If my parents and I can't earn enough money for it, we plan to go to the coast.  Please pray that we earn enough so that we can go on the trip out of state.
Thanks!

What a difference a weekend makes!!!!

My weekend was amazing!  I was able to sleep all night Friday (midnight to 10am), and chilled for a long time before showering and having another rest time.  Once that was done, I went to my church for an awesome dinner for volunteers at my church.  My pastor says it was a small token of thanks for all that we do.  Sunday was just a great time to fellowship with my church family.  I got spend some time just loving on two babies at my church.  I love helping out at church in almost any form possible.  The children's pastor is always thankful  for me helping her out by watching her grandson.  Please continue to pray for her grandson as they deal with what will be the best interest for him.

Today was great too!!  The kids listened to me very well, and there was not very much fussing going on.  I was able to resolve issues with my employer.  She was never mad at me, she was upset with the teacher telling things about her son's behavior to me so that I can relay it to her.  She would rather that the teacher contact her.  The kids did awesome at gymnastics today.  I was able to see them today there and it was awesome!!

Thanks for all your prayers!

Update to Prayers

I just wanted to update you all on one of my prayer requests.  The sweet little girl Yulia now has a forever family who is willing to care for and love her until she goes home to Jesus.  She will now be called Julia.  Her forever family is working hard to be ready to bring her home.  If you desire to follow her story and that of her forever family's story please go to their blog: http://schwenzerfamilyupdates.blogspot.com/

I continue to pray for them and that they will have her home soon.
Thanks!

Frustration

It has been a while since I have written.  I keep busy with my many activities and work.  Today has had a frustration tone to it.  My employer is out of town at the moment which puts more work on her husband and I.  I am glad that she can spend time with her parents since her mom is undergoing chemo treatments for breast cancer.  I really like my employer, but it frustrates me when she decides to tell me that I am not allowed to do certain things with the kids.

Today, Monkey had a rough day at school. The teacher let me know what happened.  I always let my employer know how his day went.   Monkey has a sticker chart that he gets to put stickers on if he behaves at school and gets his work done.  Now my employer does not want the teacher to tell me anything (she has to discuss it with my employer), and I can not talk to Monkey about what happened or about the sticker chart.  If he asks about the sticker chart, I have tell him that he has to discuss it with mommy or daddy.  I know I am not his mom, but that still does not mean that he is not important to me.  Sometimes, you would rather talk to anybody else than your own parents.  I have felt that growing up, and even now as an adult I do that.

Please pray that everything will be alright again very quickly.
Thanks!

Prayers needed

Much has happened this month.  I have been in a car accident (and walked away with almost no injuries), bought a new car, and praying for some very special kids.  I have also had some major lows in my life.

Here are the pics of the new car.

First of all, thank you for all the prayers said for me after the accident (I praise God that I was able to walk away from it, and that no kids were in my car at the time), and buying a new car.  I love my new car as does everyone who has seen it.

I have been praying for a special little boy at my church.  He is almost 7 months old, and such a sweet baby.  He was removed from his parents' custody for reasons I can not reveal, and has been living with his grandmother and uncle since he was released from the hospital.  He has had several medical problems since birth like pneumonia and possibly asthma.  There will be a court date in November to see if he will go back to his parents or will he be adopted.  Please pray that God continues to bless this little guy, and that the judge will choose the best choice for this sweet little boy.

I continue to pray that Monkey and Lady Bug will continue to grow strong in their faith in God, and that they continue to grow and learn to be sweet people who help others in need.

There is also a very special little girl in Ukraine who is 3 years old.  Her name is Yulia, and has a shortened life span.  Here is part of a post from another blogger:

Yulia has an extremely rare condition called Cockayne Syndrome. I read that there are only about 60 known cases in the world. The syndrome is characterized by premature aging, cataracts, sensitivity to sunlight, hearing loss, impaired development, and so on. Her life expectancy is severely shortened. She can live anywhere from four to about twenty years. Sadly, there is no cure for Cockayne Syndrome. Yulia may (or may not) also have some cerebral palsy.

A wonderful mom who has dealt with a loss of child this year, put out a challenge to those who read her blog to help raise money so that when a family is found for Yulia, that they do not have to pay so much for the adoption.  They were able to raise $20, 098 for the adoption in just less than a week.  What a wonderful blessing!  Please pray that Yulia will have a forever family, and that she does not die without a family.  She did this as a way to remember her child who died, and whose birthday is coming up next month.  Here is the blog about this wonderful family: http://allarepreciousinhissight.blogspot.com/

Please keep me in prayers.  I have had some major lows emotionally.  This year has been a year of changes for me.  I am having to deal with the fact that I have not found the one I am meant to marry yet.  My strongest desire is to have a husband of my own, and a family.  I really want to be a stay at home mom, and be able to homeschool my children.  I am trying very hard not to let my emotions come into play at work, but it is really hard.  Also be in prayer for one of my friends.  She has some issues right now that I can not reveal.

Thank you for all the prayers!

Car news

I know have not written in a while since the accident.  I have been dealing with work and car stuff.  It has been decided that my car will be totaled, and I have to look for another car.  Not sure yet when everything will be decided.  Keep praying everything works out.
