Pray for a sweet girl
I have in just in the last year met a very special family. They have become friends and family to me. Right now they have a 5 month old adopted daughter who has hydrocephalus (water on the brain). She is in the hospital right now due to 2 subdural hematomas (one which has drained and one that has to drain). It looks like she will be going into surgery Tuesday morning (possibly, depends on some tests that they run first). Hopefully they will be able to to drain the hematoma and fix the shunts. Please pray for this sweet little girl.
Thanks!

Friends that have never met
Back in January, I was invited to join a special group on facebook. That group, Boss Your Heart Bible Challenge 2011, led me to a special young lady from Australia. Although we are not close in age, our hearts speak alike. We want to help children who have no family of their own whether it is from death or desertion due illnesses the children have or something like Down Syndrome. We have never met in person, but she is very special to me. She is very much a sister to me even though we are not related. I had the chance to help another young girl in a local church near where I live buy some necklaces she made for a fundraiser at her school where half the profits went to the school and half went to a local organization. Her choice was H.E.L.P (Helping End Local Poverty-Haiti). I bought some of my friends necklaces as well as one for myself. I had was really excited for my friend in Australia get to open her package and it was so much fun to see her face on skype when she opened it. Taylah, please enjoy your necklace.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Merely a Dream
Growing up, I had many dreams of what I wanted to do, where I would go, and who I would be. Now in my mid 20s, I still have dreams; just different ones. The only surviving dreams is to travel, live in the country, and have a family of my own. From the time of being little, I have always wanted to be a mommy. It never mattered how many kids, I just wanted to be a mommy. I feel though as if this dream is quickly becoming nothing more than a dream (and desire) that will not become reality. I am not bitter, just sadden by this. I am constantly reminding myself of Jeremiah 29:11. I continually pray that this dream and desire becomes a reality soon. Pray for me please.
Thanks!

Moved Home
I officially turned in my keys yesterday and now live with my parents. It will take some adjustment, but I know that this is the best thing for me. Now I can focus on saving money, and planning my next step. I do not know where God is leading, but I pray that I follow the path God wants me to go on.

2 more nights in the apartment
Well the time has come for me to spend two more nights in the apartment and then I pretty much say goodbye to it. I pretty much plan to stay on a normal weekend schedule in regards to my saturday night stuff, but sunday I will be back at my parents' house. Monday I will hand in the keys. There is so much to do before then though. I have furniture that will take two more loads to get there, and about 2-4 loads of little things (could be more) to take back too. 99% of my stuff will be moved by saturday night. I will still have some stuff still here so that I can come back and clean on sunday. I always like to have a few hours of cleaning before I give back the keys, and I can not clean on monday as I will be working. Please pray as I get through these last few days at the apartment, and then the transition of being home again.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Less than Week Left
I am in the midst of moving home right now. Just a few days left of living in the apartment. I am so thankful for my Dad since he is helping me move home. I will be going back to school later this year. Please pray that I will make it through everything.
